Are you the kinda girl who is always pressing the snooze button on your alarm leaving yourself like, 2 minutes to get ready? Ugh, we feel ya! So, to help we’re of course going to enlighten you with some bad hair day quick fixes…
Firstly, if you wake up with not so fresh tresses (you obviously had the intention of washing it this morning, but sleep was just way too important to give up) then simply style your locks into a super cute milkmaid braid. To create this hairstyle, all you need to do is braid your hair into two pigtails, cross these over the front of your hair and secure in place with some bobby pins. Plus, if you want to rock the boho vibe like Vanessa Hudgens be sure to gently pull at either side of your braids before securing in place with some bobby pins. Super easy, right?! :)
Now, if the ends of your hair are looking a little straggly/stringy you are going to want to keep your locks well out of the way. For this hairstyle, we’d definitely recommend styling your hair into an oh so chic dutch braid. But, if this is a little tricky for you to create, why not give the mermaid braid a go? This super sneaky braiding technique creates the illusion of twice as much hair which is soooo needed for those days when your hair is looking lank.
All you need to do to create the mermaid braid is to begin by sweeping your hair over to one side, then you need to divide the hair into two equal sections. Then, take one section and flip the other section over your shoulder to keep it out of the way for now. So... taking your section of hair at the front, you then need to divide this into three equal sections and reverse braid all the way down to the ends of your hair. Oh and a reverse braid?! Don’t worry - this is just a simple three strand braid, but instead of crossing each strand over the middle, you take this under the middle instead. Once done, secure in place with a hair tie.
Finally, you need to do the exact same thing with the section of hair that you flipped out of the way earlier. However when you reach the ends of your hair, remove the hair tie from the first braid and use it to secure both braids together for one major braid. To finish off the look, take some bobby pins and secure both braids together (do this underneath your braid so that they are hidden) and say hey to thicker looking hair in a matter of minutes. We love, love, looove this braid and we’re pretty sure you’re going to, too : )
What are your go to bad hair day quick fixes, gals? : )
